Sustainability by Architecture

We didn't set out to build a sustainable infrastructure company. We set out to build the most efficient one — and sustainability followed. Every design decision we made for performance also happens to be a decision for the planet.

Our unified software stack replaces entire racks of dedicated hardware — hardware that would otherwise need to be manufactured, shipped, powered, cooled, and eventually recycled. Our network fabric uses 40% less cabling — that's 40% less copper and plastic running through every facility. Our OM-GS-1000 achieves 200 Gbps per core at 20% CPU utilization — the other 80% isn't just headroom. It's energy that never gets consumed.

This isn't a sustainability initiative. It's architecture.

Sustainability through architecture

Less Power Per Compute Cycle

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The OM-GS-1000's kernel bypass architecture doesn't just deliver faster throughput — it delivers it with dramatically less energy per operation. By maximizing per-core efficiency, we reduce the total number of active cores, the cooling load, and the power draw across the entire network fabric.

Software Replaces Silicon

Traditional networks run each function on dedicated ASIC hardware — each with its own power supply, fans, and thermal envelope. The OM-GS-1000 consolidates all functions into software on standard Intel CPUs, eliminating the power overhead of purpose-built appliances.

Efficiency Scales Linearly

As workloads grow, traditional architectures add more boxes — each multiplying power consumption. Our stack scales by adding CPU cores within existing servers. More throughput, same physical footprint, proportional energy cost.

HARDWARE REDUCTION

Every network appliance that doesn't need to exist is one less device manufactured, shipped across an ocean, installed in a rack, powered for years, and eventually sent to a landfill. Our unified stack eliminates entire categories of hardware from the data center.

Building More Than Data Centers

COMMUNITY

Infrastructure is built by people, in communities. We're committed to ensuring that our presence creates lasting positive impact — through local hiring, STEM education, environmental stewardship, and genuine neighborhood engagement.

OMNI local employment and community

We hire locally wherever we build. From construction to operations to engineering, our data centers create skilled jobs in the communities that host them.

We invest in science, technology, engineering, and math education programs in our data center communities — building the next generation of infrastructure engineers.

Beyond our own operations, we support local conservation and environmental restoration initiatives. The landscapes we operate in deserve protection.

Efficiency Is Responsibility
